Who are we:
SAIT, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology is Samsung group’s R&D hub. Established in 1987 as an incubator for cutting-edge technologies under the philosophy of Boundless research for breakthroughs. SAIT’s guiding vision has always been changing the world through creative research. At the heart of Samsung group’s R&D, SAIT acts a point of convergence for different research fields and acts as a bridge connecting different domains, resulting in quantum leap level of innovation. From AI algorithms, computing platforms and human augmentation to semiconductors, battery and display material; SAIT covers a large spectrum of fundamental research topics the are at the corner stone of advanced technologies.

SAIT Computer Vision Lab:
Computer vision lab at SAIT have been established to cover a multitude of interesting and versatile computer vision tasks. Research topics include object detection, identification, segmentation, tracking or computational photography. Researchers at SAIT’s computer vision lab work on designing and developing AI and computer vison algorithms to run on plethora of devices; from tiny machine learning algorithms running on a sensor level to huge models that run on large scale supercomputers. To facilitate the infrastructure for this versatile research agenda, the computer vision lab collaborates with computing platform researchers to facilitate a seamless integration between software and hardware. This way computer vision researchers at SAIT only focus on designing cutting edge computer vision technologies and solving challenging computer vision tasks. The Computer vision lab at SAIT is continuously looking for active researchers with interests in AI Algorithms; including Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Machine Vision, Deep Learning & Machine Learning.
